of Some of My Classmates

..........Let me start with Oscar Cajipe . He is down to earth, humble and brilliant. I remember that during our flag ceremony he is in front of me because we're both short. During the elementary days, for some reason we're soaked during the rain and we took the bus and headed to his house and met his mom. They are very accomodating family.
..........After college I was approached by one of my classiest, hot classmate, she is our magna cum laude and she is working at SGV. She was grilling me about Oscar because she knew I'm a Bedan. She asked a lot of questions about Oscar. She was very interested in him. Why not?

..........Edwin Cube
, this guy is always with a smile on his face, down to earth and fun to be with. Have a lot of jokes. Brigido M. Cruz has a good sense of humor. You can easily recognize him; he has a birth mark on his right arm. Camilo Miras , we always go to school together. We picked him up together with his sister. We hang out a lot since he is a PMT cadet officer also. I was not surprised that he became a pastor for he is very humble and kind.
..........Ruben Molina ,
another down to earth and generous individual. I used to go home with them and hang out at their house with his brothers Raffy and Cesar. Met his kind and humble parents. Ben is our drinking guy. Rafael Molina intelligent and down to earth. He was also a cadet captain officer like Ric Montalban . I know he took chemical engineering at lsu. Franklin Sityar , our colonel and another kind and fun to hang out with. He knows his stuff well.

Our soccer boys.. Cuco del Gallego , Bobby Zialcita , a great orator of Invictus which he won reciting it, Lorenzo Zialcita , Manuel Escalambre , the Golamco brothers, Franklyn and Gilbert , the Pe brothers, Johnny and William . And talking during elementary days, BOFA Division. We Were Champions. We played at the Rizal Football stadium against Don Bosco, score 2-1 under Coach Mari Alvarez. Rizalino Favila is our center. He is also in the honor roll. Davila, is our full back. He's tan and good looking spanish kid, good mannered and funny, too, and my friend Julio Revilla(+) , our best goalie.

how can you forget that Omar Sharif look. Hernan Santos , we sometimes go home together when we still lived by his house at Isabel Street before we moved to Sta. Mesa. His sister Henrietta is my sister's classmate.
....Teddy Calansanz ,
great guy to be with. I remember we tried to sell real estate with Fred Escobar .Fred's Dad ended buying a lot from Teddy's real estate Subdivision. Jorge Ortoll , good looking guy and brilliant, too. We use to ask if he has a sister.
..........Edmund Villadolid ,
my kababayan from Batangas. After High School days we both hanged around together. We used to go to our girlfriends house in Caloocan. Our Girls were sisters. Edmund's limo, the "56 Ford Red and Black station wagon with thrill seekers sticker on it.

The postulants Manuel Saulo , Antonio Lorenzana , Alberto Campos , Alfonso Inoncillo , and Rod Dula (+) . These were very religious and kind. Of course Fr. James.

I used to call him cousin because of his last name. Nice guy. Manny Lipana , our sophisticated, good looking and kind classmate. During our paper drive, he took us for a ride at his red 220s Mercedes Benz and hang out with him at his house.

I remember him as happy go lucky guy. Cesar Rosario , he is very scholarly that's why he is always in the honor roll. Danny Ablaza , another great guy. He brought us to Bulacan and met his Mom during our paper drive. He is our great basketball player at the junior and senior division.
..........Now let's go to the Confucius clan. These are the mathematicians of our class, the Ong's, Robert and William , Robert Gan , Robert Co , Liao Hong Bien Tan seated beside Montalban in front, very sharp in math. Met him in Toronto with his wife Thelma and has 5 kids, the Chuas, Manuel and Tony , Manuel Kiok and the Sy's, Geny and Robert . Victor Yao , he brought me to his house a little smaller than the Malacanang Palace, right across the street. Athanasius Chua, a very colorful guy. He told us how he drives his VW beetle with a manual transmission without using his right hand when he has a date. He took his belt off and tie his right leg to the gear so his right hand is free for the chick. A guy who's very down to earth and funny to be with.
..........Oh yes, Tony Torralba , our valedictiorian, Tony Jalandoni , another scholar. The Cuervas, MIke and Tony . They're fun to talk to. Also Danton de Guia and Fernando de Castro , who are honor roll students. And Allen Flether , the quiet one.

Ghandi's clan.. Amado Bagatsing , our politician. He loves horses. Our Dads are law school classmates. His Dad (Ramon) went to my dad's wake in 1966. Very compassionate guy.
Arjan Sehwani drives a Fiat to school. He is always business minded guy, kind-hearted and humble. Mohan , he's more sophisticated than Arjan and Hiro Vaswani is more aristocratic.

Our drummer boy Honesto Bausa . Oyo Belmonte , was also a neighbor in Sta. Mesa with Bing de Veyra and Jun del Rosario , married to Eunice Toong. Tony Carrenceja (+) , a musician and brother of Tata Carrenceja our SBC Red Lion shooter who help us came back from a 19 point deficit in the 2nd half. Jun Manalang , another neighbor who live across Tony and I, and Ed Vizcarra .

always business like person.. Gil Corcuera , one of my newspaper subscriber when I sold Manila Times. Rafael Dayot , our adjutant at PMT. He was a major. Rudolfo Dizon , the billiard expert. And Benito Dominguez , the fastest track and field runner together with Ed Quintos .

nice guy we hang out together too. Felipe Gatchalian , funny guy. We always have fun with him during class. Segundo Geaga , our honorable mention fellow. I thought he will take up medicine at UP. Chito Goquingco , whose family owns Arcadia Department Store, another kind and generous guy. Eutrapio Guevarra , short built but intelligent fellow. The Ignacios, Aristide and Hermie . They own real estate building, remember Central Market?

with a baritone voice. Ed LaChica , always well groomed. Victorino Martinez , who always smile and nice hair style.
..........How can I forget Delfin Mendoza , another generous fellow; brought us to Bulacan during the paperdrive and introduced us to his Dad who owns a textile factory. Conrado Montemayor , who has a macho look alike, more like Burt Reynolds. The Musni brothers, Carlito , has a limp when he walks and Eduardo . Conrado Montales has a very healthy look. Manny Villanueva (Fr.Gus) , friendly and always with a smile; very focused on what he wants. Tony Vazquez and Jacob Cabarrus very boyish look, girls are always attracted to them. Art Trillana , another down to earth, very good penmanship but very tiny. Wilfredo Treyes , co-captain of our basketball team boys division.
..........Luis Humphrey ,
a white man with a filipino accent, good guy. Tony Toledo , I know he's is among the intellectuals. Lorenzo Simon , a quiet guy always minding his own. Franklin Tierra , another orator. Avelino Tayag , he acts like he's a general in the AFP. Jess Tan and David Tan , both are sharp in algebra. Vic Sevilla , son of a celebrity. One evening with his new acquired Corvair, I was with them and the car broke down, boy he was steaming, because he has his date with us.

The Rodriguez's, I think Isidro came from Amang Rodriguez clan. Sonny Ocampo and Wilfredo Reynado , both are healthy boys and always smiling too. Jim Benson , good looking, good set of dentures. Angelo Penson , tall and smiling always. Ric Nepomuceno , very quiet, tall and intelligent guy. Before I forget Captain Caloy Alves , may I say congratulations on rescuing the cessna whose pilot suffered a heart attack.
