Bedan Trio in New Jersey

       It was our first time (July 3, 2004) to see each other after 40 long years since high school days but recognizing each other in the hotel lobby wasn't a problem thanks to our SBC egroups and website.

     We had a quiet dinner in a Portuguese restaurant in Elizabeth, NJ that Al recommended for our guest from the Bay area, Boy Rodriguez. Our conversation varied from nostalgic high school days, sexcapades, family life, health, and finances. Though  we  agree on one thing,

".........Parang we just graduated from high school a week ago.  That  special  "Bedan bond" among classmates will always be there no matter how long we haven't seen each other".                                                                             

that at this stage of our life, the quest for a healthy body and healthy lifestyle has replaced the quest for making money to finance our bisyo.

      As usual, Al Chua is lots of fun to be with--palabiro parin. And Boy Rodriguez--still the quite formal type. The way we talked to each other that night, parang we just graduated from San Beda High School a week ago. That special "Bedan bond" among classmates will always be there no matter how long we haven't seen each other.
