Jan. 10, 2003 GET2

Once again, last January 10, 2003, at the Makati Sports Club Main Bar, our  batch year/class had a reunion with  more  classmates attending this time. Also, it coincided as a despedida send off for Antonio I. Chua who was returning back to good old Seattle, U.S.A. at 7:30AM flight the next day.

We had so much fun reminiscing the good old times and kept the night filled with laughter's and smiles. WOW!! We could not really believe that after some 38 years or more, we had an opportunity to meet and say hello
to one another. Of course, the topics were different from the school days. You would hear one asking,"what are you taking for your
pain, diabetes, arthritis, or even heart conditions, etc.".

We were all in all 20 members present. Efren Gancayco is not included in the picture since he had to leave quite early in the night. So guys, eat your heart out and try to recognize the members. And for those with a bit of Alzheimer's, we have listed the names of the persons appearing in the picture.

We will again get in touch with one another, as agreed during that night like sometime in February for the Red and White Ball to be held at the Fort in Makati.

Also, another invitation from William T. "Abubakr" Ong on January 24, 2003 for the grand opening of his  WTO store at 120 J.Quintos, Unit 2. Let's give "Abubakr" our full support for the success of his store.  Its an all day affair according to him.

We had a grand time at Makati Sports last night as a lot of "new" faces came. Balikbayan Tony Chua was of course  there as well as balikbayan Jorge Ortoll. The other rare  classmates who came were: Noel Bautista, RAM-boy General Marcelino 'Jake' Malajacan, Eddie Galang, Angelo 'Dwight Penson, William ('Bakar' not 'Hopia') Ong and Efren Gancayco. All in all we were about twenty. Manny Lipana has the complete list of attendees and I'm sure he will list them down as he posts the pictures which we took that night. Like before, it was reminiscing time for most part. We all has a good laugh when Paul Llamas showed Dwight Penson a blue mark on his left arm which he said Dwight  tattooed on him with a Bic ball pen because Paul had his left arm go beyond their agreed boundary line when they were seatmates in high school. Next time we agreed to see each other is the Red and White ball on February 20.
